I say chaps, just out of curiosity do you recall which model/year the 911tt was? 996/997 etc?

I keep hoping I might get a bit of video of me from behind. A nice rx8 chap called said he might have some - which would be great!

Anyone else?

Short notice, I know, but due to mechanical problems one of our number has had to drop out of the Cadwell Park Track Day we have booked this Wednesday, 1st October.

Only £99, and I can offer free dinner, bed and breakfast at mine (40 minutes from the track) if you are coming a long distance. I will have two other TVR owners staying, so you won't be short of like minded company.

Interested in your VX, what engine does it have in it as it seems much happier to rev high than others I have seen.

It's a 2.2 with a supercharger strapped on.
It's a fairly straight forward mod that takes power from 145bhp to 245bhp and obviously makes a big difference to the way it drives.

Plenty of info over on vx220.org.UK where I also have a build thread..

I should add that whatever I do to the vx it'll never sound like a TVR. It was a delight to stand on pit wall and listen to you guys come past!

But some get very very close;-)

But then they don't sound as good as your Griff, the best sounding car of the day!

Cheers Martin. I must blag a ride out in your cerb next time. You went past me one of the straights like I was standing still... it is a proper rocket that thing! Looked pretty flat though the corners as well. thumbup
