Hi Karen,

Great to meet you yesterday, and I'm delighted that the car's going to a good home. Not too sure about your dodgy-looking mechanic though... wink

You can put a decent photo on your profile page now! And help yourself to number 44 in the V8S owners' list if you like.

Have fun,
Graham
Hi Graham

It was great to meet you too, really enjoyed our run out in the rocket ship! As for the dodgy looking mechanic, not sure what Toni did with him whilst we were out but he is far better behaved now and his dance moves have improved tremendously, I do have to keep him away when we see a line of traffic cones though (seems to feel the need to weave through them lol)

Ha ha I shall make amends on the profile photo front asap and thank you I shall accept the invite to take up space 44. Looking forward to seeing you again next weekend and to collecting my car! (Get my overalls today - very excited about that too)

Karen

Thanks Max can't wait to pick it up now - next Sunday and counting! Look forward to seeing you too, should be a good day! You are very welcome to come and see the car before then though if you feel the need (for some proper speed lol)

Thank you Paul, they are addictive!

Ha funny enough you are not the first to mention that, bit of a theme. How is your car now that I am nowhere near it?

I'm very excited about it Han can't wait to pick it up! Oh definitely was the memento, it's on my desk right in front of me didn't feel I'd earned it without owning an S. Just need a photo of my car to sit next to it now.

It is a fabulous car and I'm very grateful to Graham for agreeing to sell it to me.

Have a fabulous birthday! X

Great news Karen thumbup

I've heard of people listening to a friends CD and then going and buying a copy. But this is this first time I've ever known someone spend a weekend with a load of cars then just a matter of weeks after getting home they've got one!

Were you influenced by your other half? Couldn't he stand the shame of turning up at another S Club meet in a Griff? hehe

See you in August smile

Unfortunately not Barry Stew needs to move the seat forward a bit for me to give me a comfortable driving position so I shall have to make do with being a passenger -this time!

Thanks Ian I'll be glad to get it home now so Stew can get it ready for me to drive, can't wait to get in the seat!

Ha ha it sounds better than any cd I've heard! Got kind of hooked on the Eurotrip and Graham's car came up just days before my house sale completed - it was clearly meant to be mine, the car wanted me to have it! Well it would have been rude not to!

Have to say there was no influence at all aside from letting me know it was on the site (he is as excited as me about it though). Not sure the Griff would have been ready for the next S Club meet it is in bits but now that I have overalls that fit we'll get on with fixing it! (If a job needs doing properly do it yourself lol)

Look forward to it Ian

Weather not looking good here Sunday, , hope he can handle a powerful car like that, and the seats do move forward lot, and you're taller than him anyway :-)

Not happy with your weather report Barry, sort it out! Can't collect my car with the roof on! Ha I think he'll manage ;0) well we put the seats all the way forward and I still had to stretch to put the clutch all the way in, vertically challenged you see Barry, not well Blessed in the leg department! I can only dream about being taller than Stew!
