Just noticed I've lost the black rubber U shaped thingy that's glued onto the top of the door, the window slides into it as it's raised; passenger side. Anybody got one or know where I can get one?
I made a pair from 3mm black acrylic then lined the "glass slot" with weatherproof draught excluder. with a recessed "plug" so it sits in the aperture. Works to stop the back edge of glass rattling and doesn't drag on the glass to slow the motor with resistance.
Hello, I have the same problem with a missing top/rear window guide. Could you post a pic? I have black acrylic sheet but can't quite picture the 'plug' and draught excluder fitting.
. . Hard to show as acylic is shiny black, but draught strip is on each side of the glass and the "plug" is another piece of acrylic stuck to the underside of this piece that sits inside the door frame for added strength.
