guys,

i am going the whole hog with rear brake discs up to 273 ventilated etc etc but at the same time I wouldn't mind having a servo handy if we need to swap out the existing one (if it turns out to be an issue)

So if anyone has one I could have, please PM me and we can sort a deal.

Ever optimistic !

Steve, Scole Eng in Diss told me they had a batch of Saab items a couple of months ago after Gary had issues. Not sure if they are master cylinders or servos or both but give them a call tomorrow.

... Other wise it would be easier to get hold of hens teeth!

... Good luck

There was a shop on ebat that had a good supply of new Ka items for £50ish a few months back. They had master cylinders too. Worth a search.

Data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders out today shows that in total 4,132,294 Fiestas have been sold since the model first appeared in 1976.

Yeah but no but...... how many of the multitude of different Fiesta variations are the correct ones for our application? confused

As far as I can ascertain, Austin's servo & m/cyl is from the Ford P100 Sierra Pick-up truck.

Another can o' worms.......

( Apologies for my absence, I 've had some stuff to deal with.
But now I'm back.... )

Edited because I forgot the "P".
Inexcusable at my age I know, but it happens to the best of us......

But how many of those are mk3 XR2i or RS1800i models with the optional ABS fitted? hehe

The long running saga of S servos!

TVR Parts keep me up to date and the latest is of interest to us. What slightly puzzles me is that this is a very early S servo indeed. It looks like the Tasmin fitment was carried over into the very first S series and this looks like the type fitted to Glenrobbo's 'Austin' (correct me if I am wrong Glen). The servo shown predates the SAAB set up on my 1988 car.
So if you bought this servo it isnt a replacement for the SAAB or the later Ford Fiesta (some models) type and cannot be expected to mate with those master cylinders.

Hmmm, "Awaiting image".

I could comment on it better if I knew what this new addition looks like.

scratchchin Not exactly cheap, is it? Even with 5% TVRCC discount.
