very curious to know more about this as I think my S is suffering from the same disease I had a new system custom built by Demon Tweeks in Wrexham, the stainless system they built only has baffle material in the rectangular silencer section, the rest is purely straight through pipes, from manifold to the fresh air outback. I find it sounds superb, a satisfying burble when ticking over a refined bellow when opened up, but not uncomfortably loud, and when you really push the revs up it has an addictive roar. I did briefly try it with a complete straight through system, but that was very uncomfortably loud and barked on over run, which almost hurt, so settled for the one baffled silencer.
