Mine are now painted and ready to be rebuilt. Does anyone have an exploded diagram of how it all goes together........I think I remember but a diagram would confirm........early S1 with exercise windows!

Norman did some good stuff on hinges but don't recall anything about doors (locks glazing etc.) generally?

I found it easier to fit doors bare, nice and light to hang/adjust then build up on the car.

Top Tip... this seat foam is ideal to replace the foam pads that act as check straps wink

Hi All
It might have been the hinges I was thinking about.
Take pictures Mick as I need to do mine as well, I got all the electric motors from Norman so I will have to fit them as well.

I STILL miss the damned car and this forum, wont say which BMW forum I haunt now but there are some plonkers there, some are OK but here ALL are OK.

Well this might help it was in FAQs at the top of the list, cummon guys do A little searching now and again!!

Hi Norman. What I'm after is a drawing showing how the window and operating much are fitted.......I have sorted the hinges... but not fitted yet. I presume I have to have the door located in its place before fitting the hinges
