Hi Mick,
I does look good, but I can't quite make out whether your photo shows this side or the other side wink

jester

Looks a lot simpler than Jens' version.
More pics please and will you be introducing a mod kit onto the market so that the rest of us can get it up as far as you can?

Hi Mick
I have made up 2 6mm dia stainless steel wires just in case the wind gets behind it.

That's the main reason I would like to do this as well.

Hi Alan. Splitter not fitted as yet. Will go standard to start with and add if need be at a later time.....as it fits under the bumper line it will be within the stone chip area and so wont mess too much with the paint finish (hope)

It must get pretty windy up your way Alan, but I reckon 26mm dia steel wires should just about hold it. Seems to work ok on suspension bridges & cable trams etc. wink

Sorry. getmecoat

I have the same on my S3, they were well shot when I removed the bonnet. I am stripping mine down for a body of rebuild, but like the look of you hinge modifications, any chance you could provide any specs, such as length, angles where attached to original chassis etc.

cheers
