First time I've seen an S with wires ( with the body on, anyway Alan wink ).
Kinda gives it a retro look, as do those round mirrors.

And the rear lights are kinda 'Chevvy'? Somebody has done quite a bit of work personalising this car. I like it.

Was this an Italian registered S ?

Hi Mick
Nice one and the back lights are kinda like mine except I have 2 from a Lotus Elise.
Don't you just love those wire wheels.

Hi All.
I do like chrome wires, as I had some of the chrome peeling I decided to strip off the chrome and do a black paint job on them, so stripped the chrome off had them blasted, stripped again and blasted again, 2k etched primed. Today I shot the first coat of 2k black primer.
Don't know if a gloss or satin would look best, Red body so I may just do satin and a 1/8 pinstripe on the rims.

First Coat of Black Primer

All dry just a light sanding left

Left over chrome, just need to dispose of

MMmmmm

disposing of that could be more than the cost of doing the wheels up!

don't take it to the recycling centre in the van........use the car!

Hi Mick,
We have a place where we take all of the scrap X-Ray tubes and he is going to collect it.
