Hope you got to pick up Grace and made it home safe Niiige, great day out, most enjoyable, you did miss the blast up Fish Hill, which really blew the cobwebs away. See ya soon.

I enjoyed today tremendously. The driving was great, the breakfast lovely and the company fantastic.

Here is a photo of the pit crew in action at Weston Sub Edge:

I do not know if you all realised, but the Mk2 Jag which we followed up Fish Hill and for some miles thereafter was the new Callum approved re-creation, WFY300 - yours for only £350,000!:

Lets do another trip one day.

Cheers
Tony

Great photo of the pit stop team - they were very quick ! I'm still basking in the glow of TVR comradeship !

I'm keen to do it again in October. Be nice to get another run in the bank !

The lovely old couple whose driveway we were performing pit emergency repairs, offered to put the kettle on, while "we" toiled to cure the missfire. Sadly mistaken in thinking we drove Triumphs, even coming up with the Golden Quote "Triumph and Disaster" but they did offer to make tea, so I forgive them.

Hopefully more runs coming soon, Tony has one in mind for Leamington/Princethorpe area already,
I am in very early planning stages of a Fish & Chip run to the coast.. I know the excellent Chip Shop, but trying to plan, avoiding motorways.
Who SORNs their cars these days anyway !! Some of the best driving conditions are here soon.

South Wales, for me its around a 2 1/2 hour drive. Brecon, Ross on Wye and some of the Heads of the Valley road.
When its looking about right I will start a new thread with all the detail. Will require quite a lot of research, driving round routes etc. The Fish & Chips are excellent though.. !!
