2000 Miles in a week

Just got back from driving down to Aix en Provence in the S, motorways all the way down there over two days and nice scenic roads and a bit of motorway on the last stretch back. Drove all around Provence in temperatures up to 30 degrees all week and the car didn't miss a beat once.

Also it's quite amazing how much attention the car gets over there.

Not a journey I'd recommend, but glad we did it and glad I've got today off.

Great stuff!

Planning to do the same in an S and a Wedge next July. Would be keen to have an idea of the toll and fuel costs, as I'll be forking out for both! Did a similar trip in a Chim, but 16 years ago, so I'm a little out of touch...
