My son has a mate called Hadrian. He is a builder and he's been looking for work .
He might be alright from tomorrow. smash(nearest I could find to a builder simile)
Interesting times.

Well, today is my birthday and the best present was the vote to keep us united (not counting Glasgow). I don't suppose that'll be the end of it though. At the very least there's going to be all this wrangling over the "West Lothian" question.

So Glasgae has effectively voted to devolve from Scotland?

Whisky is over-rated, Whiskey however, now that is a different matter.

Oh I dunno:

Still, if I can't get any whisky, there's always the Bushmills to fall back on/with.

Well now - here's a debate Paul. I couldn't be arsed to drag them all out and into the competition, and I know a picture of a blended one will draw scorn fire and brimstone (not just cos its blended either, I suspect), but there seems a debate on how you spell it. Now - on with the drinking and for what its worth, I'll raise a glass (neat of course) to our wee Scottish brothers and sisters. Personally i'm glad to see the "united" front of the kingdom - there's enough trouble in the world without this.

If you guys need any help with that lot, just let me know wink

I think anything with a 'Glen' in its' name has to be pretty good. cloud9

And I also think that whiskey with an 'E' in it is either Irish or Yorkshire.

The Norfolk distillation ( from sugar beet & swede perhaps? ) is probably known as 'Scarch' in they parts boi.

There's even Welsh whisky available now, but I have a fear of the unknown yikes

I can't get hold of that football one - the glenhoddle.

Welsh whisky? Steely, with a hint of coal and makes you break out in song?

I drink English gin so no problem with all this. Good we still have a UK with people who have, and respect, different views.
