Tony, it's really too early ;-) !! In fact mine is really light beige, I painted my seats with furniture clinic stuff and ordered "magnolia", it was a perfect match.
Biscuit is a more darker beige like yours, I guess..

I do apologise. No point asking me to be a witness with my powers of observation!

Thank you for the helpful comparison.
All I can say is:
Crumbs!
ooooh that's a tough one! both look gorgeous! and the differences make it even harder to choose, i prefer the s2 type uncluttered front without extra driving lamps but i like (illegal) the silver on black reg plate. like both colours, damn!

thanks you! are those real minilites or compomotive ml? what size/ i would like some 15x8s on mine!
They're aftermarket replicas - JBW. They're same size as the standard 7 spokes but with a zero offset so they stand slightly prouder and fill the arches better (imho).i'm all for filling out the arches, i have 20mm billet alloy hubcentric spacers all round on mine to get the same effect with my original o.z.s

yeah this is lovely but reckon black with red leather might be best of all
Bit late to the thread but here is the only one I can find small enough to upload from my phone (courtesy of another PHer from burleigh who I pinched the picture from and can't remember their name ) Will try do dig a couple more out if anyone is interested.
I like the black but some people don't. As with all things, color is so much down to personal preference. I liked mine in black even though it was far from the best car to begin with! Not sure what my personal favourite is though, I think they suit darker, more sombre metallics even though mine is solid!
As for wheels, I like the 8 spokes but love the Oz racing alloys. So much so I havea set of 15" in the loft waiting for a refurb when I can find the spare cash. Look great when polished.
Not sure if red will work well for me. If I get the opportunity the interior will become champagne and black instead of the grey scheme it currently has. Topped off with a deep lustred veneered dash The Big G said:

They don't unfortunately, a little bodywork is required. Originals are getting quite rare ( = expensive) those are copies.
Ah that's a shame, I don't want to get involved in paintwork. I know the MX5 ones fit ok and I have a set, but they don't look 'right' to me. I need to change them though - the originals are almost useless.Gassing Station | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
