Weird - like tobacco smoke yellow or white with a "hint of Eggshell"

Here's my old S2. I offered it to Julie, so it would be a his and hers "S" thing, but she couldn't reach the pedals. I wasn't bothered about white at the time, but it doesn't actually look bad IMO

There you have it; close the thread, Alan and Tina are bang on the money, red is the best, though I must say, that whilst I am not a fan of white, Pete's old S2 looks lovely, mind you his V8S looks very nice too, as does Joe's grey and oh, the blue ones, both dark and light blue look great as does the green of J-Lo

When it comes down to it, I am not sure what colour I would choose if I had the choice again.

ETA

Is the off white one called Primrose like the E-Type jag colour? Sort of white with a hint of yellow, not nicotine white.

Let the row commence wink

What do people think is the best colour for an S? Light, dark, metalic, pearl or solid?

Pics would be good too.
Here we go......... this ol chestnut.

The BIG G has a big black one - if he's around he should have a pic.

Bit late to the thread but here is the only one I can find small enough to upload from my phone (courtesy of another PHer from burleigh who I pinched the picture from and can't remember their name getmecoat) Will try do dig a couple more out if anyone is interested.

I like the black but some people don't. As with all things, color is so much down to personal preference. I liked mine in black even though it was far from the best car to begin with! Not sure what my personal favourite is though, I think they suit darker, more sombre metallics even though mine is solid!

As for wheels, I like the 8 spokes but love the Oz racing alloys. So much so I havea set of 15" in the loft waiting for a refurb when I can find the spare cash. Look great when polished.

I think we have all agreed that any colour suits and S as it is a beautiful design....

....for wheels you can't beat the 8-spoke...except perhaps a bigger diameter 8-spoke...mmmmmm

...ooh ambassador Tinks...you spoil us with your Farrero 8-spokes.. wink
