S1 exhaust manifolds
Discussion
Hi Roy,
If you do get stainless steel manifolds fabricated, please do not throw away the old cast ones, as they are rarer than hens' teeth, especially the offside manifold.
Even if they are cracked they can be repaired by a skilled welder, and could be used to save a poorly S1 in the future.
Good luck,
Glen

Thanks for the info guys, very useful indeed !
Im now looking at the fuel injectors, which have been badly stored and I doubt will be much use. Im thinking of maybe changing to a carb set up which will be easier to maintain. I recall some while ago seeing an s2 with a holley set up. Does anyone have any info on them ?
