could not see how to get a refund , I would try your local post office , they should have the right form.

It's easily done online.

Any remaining whole months would be refunded automatically with the cheque being sent to the RK's address ie the one held by DVLA.

That's the idea, although it is DVLA we are talking about !

SORN and tax discs

You’ll get an automatic refund of your vehicle tax for any full remaining months when you make a SORN. It will be sent to the address on the DVLA record.

You’ll need to buy vehicle tax if you want to use the vehicle again on the road. This expires your SORN.

Dale, is this for the tamora or are you retiring for the winter and SORNing the van? I know you've been under the weather this week but are you sure you've not overdone the antibiotics?! If you don't think you'll be using the tamora in the coming months I'll happily pay the tax on it if you want to drop it off. Actually, I'll save you the bother and come and collect it myself biggrin

Shame Geoff I'm in Norwich for Sunday lunch tomorrow otherwise I would defiantly come along . I use the Tam all year so will get out on the good days in the winter , hope there is another chance to meet the Cambs members .
