V8S Diff or CW wanted..
Discussion
I thought I had a good 3.27 cw but doesn't fit so v8s would drop in if no joy as I expect sourcing one then m3 at 3.05 or 3.15 or perhaps 330 which has a 2.95 my end up in there next year.. But that's modified prop, half shafts and mounts..
Anyone want a quaife 3.64 Lsd?

Have you considered a Chimaera diff. 3.31:1 ?
Won't be a "drop in" but drive shafts/prop flange maybe easier to match up than a BMW unit and far more readily available I'd have thought than a V8S unit and they are all LSDs?
Weren't there a load of new ones found in some containers full of spares shipped back from Malaysia quite recently by one of the big TVR specialists? No idea if they were GKNs or BTRs?
This would also give provision for a speedo sensor, would that help with your engine conversion or do you have that sorted?
Another good suggestion thanks Track v Road might have one we can take a look at.
Speedo wise I think I will be using a skydrive GPS speedo or swapping to a newer gauge got to sort engine first may live with the diff for a while so I can replenish funds and ponder..
Unless I find a v8s one but even that ratio is not as low as I ideally wanted if I can get to 3 or so I get a long first and 160mph potential in 5th which is kind of irrelevant but gives a nice cruise at motorway speed.
This should be ok as my gear ratios are the same as an m3 and I have a better power to weight than an m3 so an m3 diff feels like where I will end up.
Thanks
Damian

Any way I can check its a 3.36 ?
Is the V8s still a Ford diff?If so and it still has its little tag attached there is some help on this old thread.
Failing that it will take some careful marking up and counting turns of flanges.
I doubt they'll let you remove the back cover to count teeth until you've paid for it (agree a full refund if wrong ), there may be some numbers stamped on the crown wheel? seeing the pinion to count teeth might be tricky?
ETA here you go, all you could want to know about "Sierra Diffs"
