Nice, will have to do that! Only reason that the lenses broke is because a line of raised bricks were perfectly aligned so that bonnet scraped then wedged behind them as it dropped weeping

Is now in 2 halves, not realizing it had sealant holding it in I gave it a gentle tap it just popped open! bottom join completely gone from top looks new. Thanks Chris, If I'm not in please make sure it's out of sight (tuck it under the silver car) or the scrap man will have it away!

If the bonnet strut is the same as the boot strut then I have a spare one from my old V8S knocking around in the garage. Free to a good home.

I suspect not?

Looking at Simon's photo that looks longer than a boot strut?

If it's still available I'd be happy to have it, might be just the thing I'm looking for. Yhm.

Don't beat yourself up over it, that's Simon's V8 and that is more than a bit special to say the least!

Already have Stuart every time I realise I should probably have looked about a bit more before buying.....no I'm bringing her slowly back to life.

V8 as well, its a nice motor no doubt.
