Omitec 100 - code reader

Hi folks, I've just received from Ebay a Omitec-100 code reader for the EEC IV unit fitted to the S series. It cost under a tenner and from what I can see , they come up quite frequently on Ebay and Gumtree. I have a 5 pin ( but only 3 wired) connector under the dash , (see pic) which the Omitec unit fits. The unit goes through a series of checks with engine off and then allows for a " wiggle test" . After this there is a procedure to follow with the engine on and finally it puts car into code 60 for 10 minutes to adjust timing. The codes are displayed as numbers and the wiggle test produces an audible alarm if a faulty wire found. Granted the codes are not extensive but cover all the sensors on the TVR. Howevever for the money and functions it has I think these units might just be a cheap addition for other S owners.
