Gents,

Just paid £143.26 at National for 2 x Dunlop BlueResponse 205/60/15 91V Tyres that are often recommended on here. Fitted and disposal included. They'll also check tracking for free.

Best I could find - the guy at the counter could only quote £190 but told me to buy them through the tyreshopper website which worked out at £150.80 but then applied a 5% off code (DC5ALL) to reach the £143.26.

National are my local tyre fitter for tyreshopper! Ridiculous that they can't beat a sub-contractor quote but saved over £45 nevertheless.

Check your tyre pressures, just had 2 new rears thought something felt very wrong at speed, 34psi!

Chris - it might be the release compound on your tyres - I had the very same issue, but it calmed down after a few hundred euro miles.

Yep - he needed telling twice that they only need 22psi at the front. A lot lower than they're used to in mainstream places.

Had all four changed in June, they put 40psi in each one, didn't think to check until the scary first outing.
Three months later the rears were down to less than 20, decided to check them a bit more frequently in future

I had the same discussion over tyre pressures when I had my BluRinses fitted.
" Could you put 22psi in them please?"
"Ah, you mean 2.2 bar."
"No, 22psi."
" That would be underinflated, we can't send you out with tyre pressures that low."

ETA. Recently I have been running 24 psi all round, and it seems to handle well.
