Let's try a more serious response - where are you thinking of skiing Joe?

Preferably Switzerland, possibly Crans Montana or similar. Austria would be my next choice but no way France nono. The Swiss Franc is much better value against the Pound than the Euro so Switzerland is no longer the expensive option. But don't tell anyone! Possibly second week in February to avoid half term.

Depends if you like sking on the black stuff? So wanted to ski the Petit St Bernard pass last year after my first proper drive of Tims S up and down it. Unfortunately the weather wasn't up for it.

Might be interested if my usual team of nutters are busy....

Poss Les Diablarettes as have a mate with a chalet there ?

Greg, don't you mean the Petit St Gotthard Pass?
I managed to sneak that one in on the Alps Eurotour last year. It was a bit cobbley, but pretty damn spectacular.

Just a thought, aren't you a tiny bit worried about the risk of alien abduction out on those exposed snowy slopes with Joe?

Just sayin' .

Is that the Les Diablarettes in Switzerland? If so could well be interested. What's the skiing like there?

Hi Joe

yes Les Diablarettes is in switzerland, connected to villar which is more famous

I am trying to remember which way the petite St Bernard go's but from Switzerland down into Italy i think. We did it on the first tour way back. As it was my first proper drive in a TVR we did it twice!

Les Diablarettes is about 250kms north of Le Petit St Bernard, which is in France. I like to get the miles in but even that's a bit much for me! laugh

Sounds good to me thumbup It's not in France so that's the main thing sorted laugh

That was the brilliant day in 2010 when we started in France, drove over the P-S-B into Italy after the Val d'Isere detour, arrived at our Swiss lunch stop in Verbier at 5pm then got to the hotel in Chamonix back in France just in time for dinner. An epic day drivingbiggrin

That could be a while... wink

Petit St Bernard goes North West from Bourg Saint Maurice / Seez in France to La Thuile / Morgez in Italy.

That was my first Euro Tour, an amazing and unforgettable day. Wasn't that where we got to the top in the blizzard and on the way back down Andy melted his dust covers?

Thanks Longers! When's the next one? Sorry, had to ask biggrin
