Somebody recently reversed into the front of my car - result broken passenger side indicator lens and a few paint scratches.

Anyone sat on a spare lens `prepared` to sell , happy to pay over the odds as the insurance is going to have to pay.

Otherwise will have to look at the alternatives out there.

Just sold a damaged lens/unit on ebay, £31 no less to a gent from Austria.

The delivery address was "Austrian Plastics GmbH" and a quick Google reveals him to be the M.D. So he is either an S owner or a man with a business plan...

Paint shop doing my freshened up paintwork / stone chips has access to quite a few original front indicators i understand.
So no longer a problem for me.

But thank you for the replies anyway !

They are so vulnerable, a protective cover like those available for some cars' headlights would be good, made of polycarbonate or something similar. I have a recently-new pair of indicators on my car but they've already suffered a few stone chips; maybe even clear "sticky-back plastic" would do. That's on the to-do list during the winter re-furb.

Many thanks for the offer.
I believe my paint shop has told me they have some but I'll double check.
Still no mail yet, but will email you soon.
Thanks again
