January Freezing Fish and Chips
Discussion
i plan to bring my youngest daughter :-)
The local TVRCC meet at the A14 Orwell Crossing truck stop from 10.30 (A14 Eastbound, Nacton, Ipswich, Suffolk IP10 0DD),
leaving for Aldeburgh at about 11.00 - arriving Aldeburgh about 11.45.
Parking at the public car park at the far end of the High Street (past the fish and chip shops).
Access to the Brudenell Hotel for hot drinks after lunch
You can either meet us in Aldeburgh OR join the rest of the local TVRCC at the Orwell Truck stop from 10:30 ish. I'll probably get to the truck stop for 10:45.

Thanks Barry
Looking forward to some nice hot fish & chips.
Woke up to snow again this morning oop here in the Frozen Norf.
( & wished I'd made it home to my nice warm bed last night
There are various interpretations to the phrase 'drifting off'. )
Seriously, how are we going to help global warning if some of you lot SORN your TVRs every winter?
I mean come on, play the game!
Damian, I'm looking forward to seeing your S-Type S, glad it's up & running now.
It will thank you for a bit of exercise, they love to run wild & free you know!
Are you thinking of getting a Jaguar fur wrap for it? That would be cool
See you all Sunday folks. Mine's a cod & large chips with plenty of vinegar.
Well, it's made with malt innit!
Not too much salt though.
Now where are my thermals?

Wassamatter wiv you lot then?
I've just come through every element that Mother Nature could throw at Austin & myself, snow, sleet, hail, torrential rain, thunderclouds and terrible wind ( sorry about that ) and the only thing that kept us going was the thought of those lovely fish & chips, so you'd better all man up.
My sister only lets me stay on condition I leave straight away
So we are definitely gonna give it our best shot at getting there.
Aldeburgh Sunday forecast: light cloud, 2° light winds 6mph S Easterly.
So roofs off then!

Wasn't that fun?
Well done to the S boys for braving the terrible weather, all that hazy sun and patches of blue sky was awful.
The only Annoying Thing was this.....
( Mostly )Topless parade...... where were you Nigel?
Thanks Miss Ellie for the photography skills
Verdict: Aldeburgh fish & chips are a close second to Whitby Harbour chippy fate. Delicious

Well done for keeping our end up guys!
...sorry I couldn't join you, but I was busy fitting these beauties...
Refurb'ed calipers and new red stuff pads...along with new discs, braided hoses and the cheap suspension I got from Stuart last week...mmmm nice ....shame it shows up the rest of it now...
...The roof was also down for the whole time...

Arrived at Aldeburgh around 3.30pm. Not a TVR in site! Was meaning to join you all but a particularly violent hang-over got me Sunday morning for no apparent reason! (Mates 50th could've been the cause). Would've been great to catch up again but it was VERY cold, so fair play if the roofs were off.. ;-)
