Sunday 18th of January
You know you want to - sign up here
Roof off (essential unless torrential rain)
Jumper, coat, balaclaver, hat, thermals etc
and a £5 for some decent fish and chips
We can always run on to somewhere for an hour afterwards once full of chips :-)

Give us a map or postcode save us all Googling it!
...the clue is in the photo...Aldeburgh...famous for its fish and chips...the shop even has a web cam so you can check the length of the question before visiting in the summer....but the que will look a little different in January!!!Almost as important is that it has the house front used in a top TV program.....

....the Tiv will probably be off road at the time...can I bring the Nissan Leaf?
I know the chip shop very well & the queue in the photo is a short one! Good news though: further up (or down depending which way you're coming from) is another chippie which is owned & run by the same people.
If any of you were coming from further afield & looking for somewhere to camp I may be able to help as have access to a house 15 minutes away (near Snape Maltings for those who know the area) though you may have problems on the drive as the short drive/track is a bit bumpy in places! Let me know if anybody interested- Glen/Austin

What time ? Can't make out the opening times on the photo.
What roof?
Dress code:
Does it have to be a ridiculous bright orange balaclava?
Would a pink onesie be an acceptable alternative to thermals?
Or a spangly camouflaged jumpsuit with khaki tassles? ( stealth mode )
Mmmmm Fish 'n' chips I love the smell of fish in January.....
Run on to somewhere afterwards: Peak District National Park? Looks nice with a sprinkling of snow

Is this still a plan ?
Happy new year S clubers .
Hi Dale Happy new year S clubers .
I hope it's still on, I'm fed up with all this turkey!
Top Gear Steve still hasn't specified a time - maybe Noon? Or Midday? Or perhaps 12:00hrs would be a better time?
I'm a bit worried about my calendar though, coz here oop norf, I'm still stuck in 2014 and it's not New Year until tomorrow.
This single malt can have a strange Einstinian effect on relatives, and also awareness of space & time.
Hope I haven't missed a good party
Hmmm, Snape Maltings sounds like a place worth investigating
Do they make East Anglian whiskey there?
Plenty of good local ingredients available, like barley, potatoes, swedes etc. to create a tolerable hooch
Have a good one everybody!
