Who's 50th Birthday, company started longer ago than that?

50 years since Martin Lilley took the reigns .

I thought TVR started in 1948 - the same year as Land Rover ?

50th Anniversary Celebrations
(Posted on 11/12/2014 by Ralph Dodds)
We're really excited to announce that everything is coming together nicely now for the Club's 50th Anniversary Celebrations next year. There will be a series of events celebrating 50 years of the TVRCC throughout the year, but the big one will be over the weekend of 17, 18 & 19 July 2015. So keep your diaries clear! We'll be in a position to reveal full details shortly but we can say that it will involve something for everyone including a driving experience that you will not want to miss...

from the TVRCC website.....

We could do 30 years of the S in 2016? Hmm unsure now should that be 2018?
