Hi everyone,

Thank you for your answers.

Qbee, I'm interested in a spare wheel but don't know how to send you an email via this forum.

Regards,

Geoffrey

Yes they both use Ford Sierra 4 stud hubs, 108mm PCD.

This makes it a doddle to fit the larger 260mm brakes from a Chimaera/Griffith to an S smile

One gone, one to go. I bought two for no particular reason, but never have them in the car so they need a new home.

OP?

Having said that, I need to check I do still have both!! I am out tomorrow in daylight, but will check as soon as I can.

If you can find it i put my name on it please?

Of the two I have I had the best one modified for my Taimar and the other is very corroded, coating flaking etc. Doesn't show a lot being in the boot with a cover on it but would be nice to have a better one scratchchin even if nobody can see it!

Subject to me being able to find it, then fine! I will have a look next time I am home in daylight (no light in the shed, and it's full of stuff)
I will email you at the weekend.

I did have a spare jack with mine, will have to check the garage, if its there its yours for the price of postage. I will be having a good. Sort out and all my spares accumulation will be up for offers.

What kind of jack does the S massive recommend for carrying in the boot?
I take a low level Halfrauds trolley jack to track days in my Chimaera, but have to admit to carrying an RAC card for road use.
The lack of jacking points worries me for most small jacks.

Genuine TVR jack, which looks very similar to a multitude of other car jacks that can be found.

The only trouble with most other jacks is that they are designed to fit over a different type of jacking point and not a round tube. I'll have a look for one next year, probably after I get a flat and remember I haven't got one...

I think so long as you get something like this rather than this it will be fine and lift quite safely.
