Just a quick update to inform that entry places for Stratford Festival of Motoring on the Sunday are now completely sold out, so if you want to go on their run out, you will have to blag a seat as navigator with a lone S driver already entered.
For those who have booked their places, the entry packs will be posted out to you in about a week's time.

There will be a vintage air display at Coventry airport on the Saturday, for those that like old stuff. It is a short distance from Stoneleigh. I went for a meal at the DC6 diner there last night (it is an actual Douglas DC6) and picked up a leaflet.

Here is a link to their website:

The DC6 Diner is here if you want a different place sometime:

Sorry I haven't read the whole thread yet, is it something I have to book?

I'd only be there a day (have three little kids, so three days off is unlikely!) but yeah I'd like to go to one. I haven't taken the S to anything like this before.
Richard, if you want the full info, the details are at the end of P3 and start of P4 of this thread.
There is no need to book the main SCH day, which is on the Bank Holiday Monday, May 4th. On this day we should hopefully see the biggest gathering of S's at Stoneleigh cloud9

You know you want to.......
I'm in!

Evening all,
I'd hoped to attend but, as is traditional with all major engineering projects, the rebuild is taking longer than programmed and will not be finished on time therefore have a camping pass and Straford registration going begging for anyone would needs them (I'm sure the car details can be changed).

Previous posters,
Please delete your earlier list entries to keep this thread compact.

Plenty more SCH spaces to fill:- We want to see you ALL there.

shout YOUR S CLUB NEEDS YOU !!!

If you want to attend Donington, don't forget to purchase your tickets from their website. 2 for 1 Discount code can be obtained from the TVRCC website Events page.
Closing date for advance tickets is 25th April, so don't leave it too late.

Entries for Stratford on the Sunday are now full. Those who have applied to them, your entry packages will be sent out in the next week or so.
Remember it is highly recommended to have a navigator for the run out, and also gives a chance for those unlucky souls who didn't get an entry.

Some of us will be staying at Stoneleigh on those days, probably sunbathing and/or chilling, but you are free to choose any or all options, you won't be all alone.

There are lots who haven't expressed their interest yet, what are you waiting for, this is going to be a great event! smile

Note that you don't have to have an S to join in. It's just so much more fun if you do. cloud9 All are welcome.

Email from Tony Merrygold re Stratford FoM:

"Glen, we spent a thrilling afternoon stuffing envelopes so I am happy to tell you that the Entry Packs for the 2015 Stratford Festival of Motoring are in the post.

Subject to the vagaries of the postal system they should be with most of you Thursday or Friday morning."

Not long now folks bounce

It's only an hour and a bit up the road, so if the weather is good and I can sort out my engine cut-out problem then I'll be up on the Monday for a look!

Hi Kev,
I reckon we've just about managed to get the gazebo thing covered smile
Any more, and there wouldn't be enough room for cars.

As for food, there will be plenty of stalls at the Kit Car Show, selling all sorts of delicious fayre, but they won't allow me to play with fire on our dedicated S Club diSplay area. frown

On the Sunday evening when we get back from Stratford, we hope to have a bit of an impromptu bring-your-own stuff in a cool box to chuck on the barbie type communal thing. burger
So those that want to join in, bring your cooking devices in case Alan's isn't big enough.
If it's dry, this will take place on our camping pitch, not our display area. Or we could go to the pub.....before the live music at the Show on Sunday evening.

For those who are too frightened to share a campsite with me, see Alan's link to nearby places to stay, or try LateRooms.com
