Is there a corner somewhere for the a Chim?

Should be centre stage never mind a corner.
They allow us to participate and then hide us in a corner so we................ "Don't steal the show"
There will be many admiring glances of the "golf buggies" or "hairdressers cars" from the general public, and many S owners for that matter.....they just don't like to admit it.
Take it from another who has seen the light.......Or is it the dark?
Looking forward to this as my youngest son now lives and works in Leamington Spa, so should make an excellent all round weekend.
P.S Tinks, don't forget to prebook your breakdown vehicle.....they get very busy on bank holiday weekends.
Just a quick note. On the Stratford Festival of Motoring, the applications normally open January ish, but they monitor the numbers of each marque and do start turning people away if the numbers of one marque get too over subscribed.
Hope everyone gets to take part, the first two years have been excellent and its only a short blast from Stoneleigh Showground (National Agricultural Centre)
Even though I have left ownership of a TVRs ( temporarily ) I will hopefully be along to remind myself how much I miss my S .

........................And I'm back in the room
Hello everyone,
I spent ages last night battling a recalcitrant interweb, before finally admitting defeat & going to bed.
I haven't time at the moment to repeat my full post, but here is some important information that I need to convey to you:
Please have a look on the Stratford Festival of Motoring website { go to our Events Wiki & click on the link ) and click "Contact" then submit your details in order to express an interest in the Event. If you decide that you would like to take part in their runs out, for us it will be on Sunday 3rd May only, please be aware that it is advisable to pair up with someone to navigate from the road book supplied in the entry pack. It is virtually impossible to drive and navigate single-handed ( Don't ask how I know this! )
As Mike has said the organisers do limit numbers of each car type, so if you wish to participate, ensure you apply early when they open up for entry applications, probably early Jan.
The places sell out quickly, the cost last year was £25 per car, which includes a comprehensive info pack, a detailed road book, stickers, a rally plate and discount vouchers for some of the town's attractions and shops etc.
I did try to negotiate a group discount, but due to the popularity of the event, they weren't willing to do so. Hey, at least I tried.
I have given them an estimated number of 10 or 12 S's taking part in the runs, which they are happy to accomodate, and I've requested dedicated parking for us at the end of the runs with easy access to exit the town via Warwick Road at 16:00 hrs ( an hour earlier than the official finish ) so that we can return in convoy to our campsite at Stoneleigh for a communal BBQ cook-up ( yes, I have spelt that correctly ) before the Sunday evening's live entertainment begins.
The Festival runs ( approx 2 hrs duration ) will commence at 09:00 hrs with staggered starts from Stratford Leisure Centre Car Park, plenty of spaces ( free to Festival Entrants displaying the stickers and rally plates supplied in the entry packs ).
I would ask those taking part in the runs to be there by 08:45 at the latest, but the earlier you arrive, the longer you will have to admire the vast range of classic & exotic vehicles.
There should be sufficient parking here for those 'S's remaining in Stratford for the day to enjoy all the various sights & attractions.
The Leisure Centre Cafe will be open for bacon butties or similar from 08:00 hrs and there may even be a VW Splitty burger van in the car park, just to get Simon drooling
I shall post on here when they open for entries, so watch this space, but do please register your interest in the interim, both on here and onthe Stratford FoM website.
That's all for now, further SCH2015 details for Monday 4th May, will be announced as they develop.
I'm a little bit surprised that nobody has mentioned that it will be on
STAR WARS DAY!........... May the Fourth be with you.

You are more than welcome to join in our 'S'elebrations, but we will be fitting your buggy with a cloaking device*.
- It's actually just an old tarpaulin, but it should do the job
Hi Andy,
Happy New Year Mate.
No need to book, just turn up on the weekend. Check out the website for details www.nationalkitcarshow.co.uk
We hope to have our own TVR camping area, but as far as I'm aware, there are no electric hook-ups.
But I will have some jump leads
Looking forward to seeing you & Dave & co.

Of course you're welcome Andy. After all, you started off with an S, and converted Dave to an S, and did a fine job for us on the S Club Barn Farm route maps.
I'm just a bit surprised you listened to that Tom from the Dark Side and sold your V8S to buy a Chim Chiminy Chim Chiminy Chim Chim Cheree or Chiminea or whatever it's called!
May the Fourth be with you and return you safely from the evil embrace of the Dark Side.
Nite nite mate.
