Quick update on progress.
I checked over the engine (it was a runner in the Scorpio anyway) then cleaned up and fitted to the gearbox. The box needed a major rebuild really (new second gear, bearings, etc. etc.) but all sorted now.
I had a few issues with the brakes but they are now essentially the same set up as a Griff 500 - 260mm front and discs at the rear. Mounted the engine and gearbox recently. Here are a few pics:

Quick question for the MT75 boys. Did you fit the rubber coupling between gearbox and prop? I'm about to get a prop made up.
