Just home and couldn't wait to share this one...........

(no one we know obviously laugh)
QUOTE ALTERNATIVE: 200 PEOPLE LOST IN NEW EUROTUNNEL

Rolls Royce are noted for their "Spirit of Ecstasy" mascot.

This is the rather more macho TVR version!

( I would imagine it looks good on the images snapped by those roadside speed appreciation devices. It's a pity they don't also capture the sound, which was even more awesome than the spectacle! biglaugh

A few observations Greg. A lot of rooves were up that day weren't they - including some of the die-hards. Max looks a bit serious now he's got responsibilities to his passenger Lucia (and his spangly new sussex roof). The Lotus looks like its going to take off like an air balloon. I don't know what happened to Julie that day, but she appears to have slipped off the seat into the passenger footwell! Potless Paul - were they smiles of relief, just because you were happy to find a distraction from madness! (We jest Glenn - we love ya)

Andrew( S2 ), please could you ask Michael if he would mind having that photo published in Sprint Magazine, and if he could email it to our S Editor?

Totally agree Glen - I would try to photoshop the euro box out of it and it would be even better.

The second pic does not have the eurobox, and there's not too many S's with the roofs up...

We will need the best quality picture to get it a big a possible in Sprint ( maybe centrefold like 'maffs from a couple of years ago)... But it can easily be transferred by one of the internet based sharing progs...

Glen write the article and we need to got contacts of others to email photos or links to photos and I am happy to pull that together

A blue S in Auvergne ????

I do not remember who, but someone of you told me that he filmed my car, if possible, I would like to see that.
Many thanks in advance.

Yep there is a pic of Julie but think she was asleep!

Expect Max keep getting slapped round the face by Lucia's hair.

Obviously most of us dont have that problem.

More to follow when I have sorted the heating....

The first drone pic is the better composition-wise: it shows both sides of the pits complex, the perspective of the track leading invitingly into the distant horizon, and the eurobox could be a track official's car ensuring all is clear to continue our S-capade! smile
The small number of roofs installed show that an S can be driven in all weathers and will encourage more of our womenfolk to consider coming along next year to join in the fun. It's all win-win I reckon!

Some more nice pics folks, keep 'em coming thumbup

The write-up is taking shape, I hope I shall be able to concentrate on it when I get back from our High Peak Nomads Lakeland Tour this weekend. ( I think I need a holiday! ) Meanwhile please email me if you wish to add your comments or thoughts or anecdotes about your best bits: I mean on the Eurotour of course! biggrin
