Original tyre size is 205/60VR14.
See the following quick ref for all specs on S1:
http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/...

Searching via TVR S on google is fine, at least the search works fine. The problem is the number of posts about tyres which have slightly different titles, makes it very hard to get continuity of information. OK, so it is my pet gripe on PH that we keep trying to lose track of hard won information and experience!

One of the bits of hard-won experience that seems to be lost, is that the S has 15-inch wheels, so original tyres are 205/60VR15

Hi Mick,

As Andrew says, standard S1 is 205/60VR15 on 7 J rims

The current popular concensus on tyres is mostly Dunlop Sport BluResponse for normal daily use. ( Plus a bit of Eurotour twisties & a bit of trackery. )

DAMN! how on earth did I make such a stupid mistake? I wouldn't mind but I now remember finding that mistake ages ago...ahh, must be my age or the time of night, or that bottle of excellent real ale (can recommend Exmoor Beast!) or they do say only fools etc etc!

If the cap fits I fear I must, on this occasion, wear it!

Yep, I do have 15's on mine as well. But I have had great experience with Bridgestones on this car.

Back to the issue of searches on info provided by this forum. The last post on this subject, which I couldn't find last night because of its title, was

Toyo Proxes CF-1 are an alternative, as also available in the correct 205/60 R15. I have them all round on mine and delighted with them.

Hi Mick
Depends on what you intend to use the car for, Dmac have a good range of tyres to suit all needs, some of the Rally ones are only in 13" but there is a full range from

195/50/R15 to 305/30/ZR19, all down to usage

Hi Mick
We have to be fools to spend and do what we do with a TVR, will be worth it in the end, fitting a ramp next week or two to help things on.

CF1 May still be available but the newer CF2 has far better wet grip rating and available as a V speed rating
