Would anyone agree that the blue S2 appears a bit expensive based on its condition??

Very hard to tell the real condition from that brief description and few photo's, but I suspect it wants a touch more than just a little TLC!

and you you must bear in mind "these cars now go for £8000" wink

Given how it's been modified, can't be test driven and on appearance very damp the asking price is 'optimistic'.

I asked the seller if he would drop the price, and said I would have it collected as I live 250miles away from him. I also tried to explain that 8k was a little unreal. However as usual he said his price was firm, at which point I thought he obviously knows more than me !

Hi All
See the rubber bumpers are filled in, he says come and look at it, guess if it has a good chassis or one needing little repair its a good price.

Wipers are all over the place. Car is full of mildew. Given it's being sold by the Capital's premier motor museum I would think that getting it MOT'd and cleaned up would be a doodle. Makes me think that there's something more a miss. Potential buyers beware.

I agree, why not put it in for an MOT and even if it fails at least you can show a potential buyer it "just needs..... to pass MOT"

Although the S cars are (unfortunately?) quite cheap at the moment, this one does seem expensive for what it appears to be! Inside looks very tatty and no pics of the engine, etc.
999,999 miles on the clock seems a lot for a TVR eek

I enquired about this car just after Xmas as nearby. Mileage was 84k and has had 4 owners.

This is true. All it needs is 'Barn Find' and a white background, and you've got a £23,000 car right there.
