Brake Servo information

Many will have already seen this:

I gave this part no.(TRW PSA328) to my local motor factor and he located this servo at a TRW agent only 10 miles away.The bad news was he then quoted me a price of 260+vat,which is probably similar to the price from Holland after adding carriage and taxes to their price.
Maybe someone can find a better deal?

If the local TRW agent actually had some stock then it'd be worth seeing if you can buy them up before someone else does!

Unless things have changed then that's a pretty good price for rocking horse do-do.

Fair enough...but what about this,is this the same one (i.e to fit an 'S')?

Hmm...the TRW one which fits the (later)S is supposed to fit Griff a Chim as well so does it follow that the TVR Parts servo that fits the Griff and Chim must also fit the S?
...bit disappointing that the TVR Parts site can't be bothered with a section for S parts.

I spoke to TVR parts about S servos last year and they were hoping to get a batch made. From the link you posted that sounds like the batch. I'd give them a call to check if it is S compatible. Appreciate the frustration with them not having an S section but respect to them if they've re-manufactured this very rare and rather important part. Price isn't bad either!

Ebay, Ford KA servo and master cylinder ABS type fit with a simple bit of body modding. Again it's an obsolete part but there is good supply on ebay of quality salvage items.

One seller had a huge batch of NOS items at £100 for both recently.

Racetech do one, i've fitted it to a couple of S' now.
