I can see why Mike. Effective major face and arse surgery on one of the ugliest cars in the BMW family. It actually looks pretty good - and the prices look good too. Back a bit like a Z8 not a bad idea either. Waistline still unmistakeably Z3 though. Overall looks pretty effective

Graham, I think that pretty much sums up my situation too. I'm not sure if anyone here can make the claim of 24 years and 113000 miles of S3 driving (the same one in fact!) so maybe I'm just a bit used to it! Which might explain why my usage of it has dropped off so much. So I think it's destined for my garage.
