Wellesbourne Breakfast ?
Discussion
I have been watching Yes Minister a lot lately so here goes ......
The primary principle that we need to be very clear about, and let us not make the same mistakes as the previous government made, which very many peoples saw, very clearly, as the thin end of the wedge. The beginning of the end. And I wish to reassure everyone that I've taken this principle very seriously. No stone has been left unturned in my search for the answer. The civil service red tape has been swept aside. Nothing has been seasonally adjusted. The Office of National Statistics has confirmed 8.30 ish. It opens at 9.00. Vote for the TVR party !
How did I do Sir Humphrey ?

In response to the aforesaid reply from my trusted and learned friend I would like to pass comment, albeit in a brief but considered manner. It could be construed or maybe even hypothesised that he, and possibly others not yet mentioned, should, may be even could, be or perhaps even are planning to meet, gather and fraternise with others likewise minded. If, and I stress, if this is the case then suggesting that bacon, eggs and assorted fried vegetables (aka hash browns) are to be made available at or around 09.00 hours is fortuitous indeed. I shall, with a following wind, see thee there! I am Sir, and always will be, your obedient servant.

Somebody remind me a bit closer to the time to bring along that carpet I was on about for you guys chopping your rear bulkheads out
A little bit off-topic there Mike, but nonetheless I am hoping to be there about 08:55hrs for the Shall I bring along my Douwe Egberts 190gm Pure Indulgence instant coffee jar inner seal anaconda flexible ventilation hose bulkhead aperture blanks for evaluation?
It could possibly be used as a totem to frighten away the Wicked Witch of Wellesbourne.
I shall depart Glenrobbo Towers at approximately 06:52hrs precisely.
Topless of course.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be there for breakfast!
Sorry, please make that 'bacon' not kippers.

To Phillpot Specialist Procurement Services:
Herewith as requested, please find my order for supply of your Finest Quality Grade A Cut Pile Exhibition Carpet in either grey or charcoal.
Approximate dimensions as follows:
1 pc 29" x 18"
2 pcs 15" x 10"
One lump will do as long as there's enough to chop into bits those sizes.
If you do not have sufficient stocks of Imperial carpet, I am prepared to accept the metric equivalent as long as nobody tells Joe.
I do not require gripper or underlay thank you please.
( I already have glue & nails. )
I am able to arrange collection at that layby at witch (sic) we normally meet at that time & date we spoke of previously.
( Anything to save it getting irretrievably lost by some expensive totally incompetent express courier disorganisation )
Please send either your inflated estimate of price or optimistic invoice to my inland revenue account so they can harass my creditors.
Or I can treat you to a heart attack on a plate and/or a nice cuppa.
Oh, you don't drink tea do you Mike? Never mind, I'll have yours.
Yours insolvently,
glenrobbo.co.uk.com.plc.inc.ltd
P.S. PSPS are the best! Now let's see if they can deliver.....

Hi Mike,Would you be kind enough to bring some of that grey carpet for me
I'm planning on making a carpet clad box/housing for the battery
Well that was fun!
I told Niiige to sack his weather forecaster, but at least I was able to stay semi-topless all the way back.
It's just short of a 250 mile round trip for me, so quite a short trip compared to Barry. You think he must be mad to go that distance just for a breakfast. But then when you see the breakfast, it all makes perfect sense, eh Simon?
Eight S's, eight different colours/shades, five different styles of wheels.
They make a nice line-up, only a witch would complain about such a pretty sight!
Thanks for the carpet Mike, all fitted now, but I ran out of spray adhesive for re-sticking the main piece of old carpet into place, a job for Monday.
Nice to see Alan's ideas on cleaning up the engine bay clutter. Some good work well executed.
If he wants a real challenge, he could have go at sorting out my boot!
If you like a nice drop of red, don't forget to sample the fine wines I spoke of, at those bargain prices, they are far to good to miss. Chateau Chantemerle Medoc Cru Bourgoise, Chateau Grand Pey Lescours St. Emilion Bordeaux Grand Cru for under a tenner a bottle from that supermarket that starts with Al, and ends in -di. I'm not a wine buff by any means ( in fact I've got hardly any means at all, but those two are just so much nicer than your common plonk.
Or there's beer
Thanks Niiige for organising this morning's gathering, looking forward to the next one.
You are all welcome to join our High Peak/ South Yorks TVRCC breakfast meet at the Oil Can Cafe, Hepworth, nr. Holmfirth, HD9 1AF on Sunday 29th March 2015 at 10:00 am.
It's a great venue and there's the chance for a nice wiggly little scenic run afterwards.
