Is PH Mail now being run by the same incompetent bunch of twunts that managed to lose a 5 foot long stainless steel TVR S exhaust which has seemingly disappeared without trace?

Hi All
Got the soft top frame some where near, need to make a new mounting plate and weld the nuts on for the frame mount, have had to cut a bit of body out so I can get in to fabricate a new pocket for the frame arms to drop into. Looks a bit drastic but it will all get glassed back in with just a 50 mm pocket to drop into, still 4" to the tyres so should be ok.

Alan

Need to drop the mount about 30mm, Glass a good fit

Glass fits easy behind the roll bar

Had to remove a big piece to ba able to fit a new pocket in

Most of the piece will Fiberglass back in

Lots of side room between the roll bar and the frame

Joe Got the webbing and all the clamps, will send a picture to make sure it's what you need

Hi All
There is quite a bit of room behind the Roll Cage, I did the Roll Cage with this in mind. I have 2 repair pieces coming from a MGB specialist, these are the inner panels with the mounting fixings welded in, will cut them to fit the TVR and re weld some structure back into the panels so it goes behind the door locks and bolts in with the door locks, a bit of glass work and done.

Hi All
Well got the MGB repair panels yesterday, decided to use them as moulds, a bit of waxing and glassing and 2 glass panels made, got them off the moulds, trimmed and glassed in this afternoon. Should be easy to carpet as well, just need to make a mould for the pocket so the soft top bar can retract into. When its all done it will be glassed inside and under as well

Hi All
Got one side finished, other side ready to do tomorrow. Soft top frame sits snug into pocket,
Put a speaker in the back, takes a 6.5" 3 way 900w, might spray the grill black as the silver looks crap.

New spot top area

Pocket for lower soft top bar

Soft top sits quite low and clears the roll cage

Red area is lower bar in pocket

If it all works out I may have a TVR soft top hoop and 2 roof panels going

Hi
I need to sell some bits that I am not going to use, I have a prop shaft, steering rack with fresh paint new ends and boots, + all the other things stuck in boxes at the back

Bact to task in hand, Joe was kind enough to send me some old soft top bits he had spare, I need to extend the soft top frame by 105 mm, used some 10 mm thread bar to align them for welding, thanks Joe.

I think the end is in sight, spoke to trim Unique about doing my seats so will be going over in the next few weeks ( working in Sunderland for 2 weeks to pay for them), A friend of my sons is getting me some used exhibition carpet to make some templates from, Hopefully on to paint and the road.
Engine is next to go in and set up the new ECU and TCU.

confused Niiige has the last S4, so I'm not sure what you mean by the TVR S4 being born?

Alan's is more the birth of the TVR Lex-S V8 twin turbo Beast.
