Is that Rustbuster?
Hello Richard, If you mean the black coating, no it's not rustbuster. It's a 2 component epoxy coating from PPG, called Amercoat.

A while ago, we talked about poly bushes for the S front suspension. I might have some samples available soon. Shall I send some to the Southways address ?

I was only thinking about this last week! Yes by all mean, would be interested to have a look at them.

Thanks Han, your ex-exhaust is still waiting patiently in my garage for it's fitting day. Hopefully, sometime in 2016 smile

Exactly one year later and the chassis rennovation is now completely finished. Almost ready to start reassembling everything soon.

1.

Also included a (proper!) cross-member mod along the way.

2.

The rebuild is moving along nicely, albeit rather slowly !

The boxes of bits and pieces are decreasing and miraculously a car shape is appearing smile

... and today in went the rear differential ...

Next milestone reached, engine and drive train back in place. Engine top / EFI rebuild next.

Putting it all back in as one piece was a great tip (thanks guys!) and was a Saturday afternoon job for 2 people - thanks to my friend Istvan for helping out !

Coming along nicely Tim, but you're gonna need a lotta bacon to lure volunteers all the way to Hungary to help put the body back on!
Just thought I'd let you know that Barry likes his crispy... wink

Thanks Glen, I'll let you all know when the body is ready to go on, and of course everyone is welcome anytime.

As far as bacon is concerned, I could offer "lashings" of this stuff: mangalica ...... crispy too, if that's how you guys like itsmile
