door /window seal - when/how to fit?

I'm about to rebuild the empty but fitted doors. I can work out how to fit the window mechanism etc. but I've purchased new window seals and don't know if I need to fit them before or after the window. Also what is the best glue to use?

I bought new ones as well Mick along with the u shaped end caps...bloody things fall off way too easy....I've honestly considered transparent external grade no nails for both.

I was thinking with the glass up but I'm considering without glass in place to create the angle so once the glass is up there is enough contact and tension between.

yeah I also have the U shape ones for the channel

I'll get some NMN from Screwfix tomorrow - I also need some st st fixings for the channels to body

Screwfix is a good shout, they do some good options for stainless fixings, funnily enough I was in one today picking up some hex bolts, nuts and screws for the hood replacement, only thing is I now have bloody hundreds to add to the hundreds of St steel fixings from previous visits...if anyone wants some let me know...especially M10 and M12 stainless locking nuts.

I think liquid nails Mentions rubber on its list.
