Hi All,

Hope you've enjoyed the Rumble, Burghley etc. etc. while I've been working hard on my strip down...oh and a honeymoon in South Africa!!

Well progress has been made - chassis is now completely stripped and is naked as the day it was born. After much deliberating, I made the call to Southways automotive on recommendation of Pompey Tim and have agreed to drop the chassis off with Richard. I've booked a trailer and will make the 5 hour journey down at the end of the month. Very excited and looking forward to the results - if Richards work on the Facebook are anything to go buy my chassis is in safe hands.

Bodged outrigger certainly isn't straight!

In the mean time, having booked on this years eurotour in the MG, I've invested in a little more stopping power. Fitted this weekend, ready for MOT at the end of the month - hopefully these discs and pads will be a little more resistant to my enthusiastic driving style keeping up with you S boys plus I needed to get a lazy suspected lazy caliper replaced. Roll on September!! driving

Out with the old...

In with the new!

No involvement from Mr Plow, so hopefully they won't squeak.... biggrin

I was very impressed by the restoration of the S1 on FB too.
That's why mine is there for a full body off restoration as we speak. You will probably see it in bits when you get there!

I don't know if you are braver for stripping your S or taking the midget on the Eurotour but well done for both!!

Your chassis will be in good hands Andrew... Rich & Steve will do a great job & get it looking better than new

Let me know when you're coming down & we can hook up if work etc allow, I'm only 15 mins or so away.

I like your Spectraflair discs Andrew, but isn't that going a bit OTT?
