Have you thought of swapping the clock and oil pressure gauges round?
Funnily enough I have been thinking along the same lines lately.

No easier time to do it!

I'm thinking of a dual gauge showing pressure and temp. Just need to find one that looks suitable.

I had considered it to be honest, but the 4 centre console gauges are slightly different to the clock. I think it would be quite noticeable with the cream surround. It's a good idea and a much more suitable place for the oil pressure gauge, which is slightly more important than knowing how late I am for the Eurotour dinner..!! rolleyes

Fitting this is not fun! Only 4 bolts along the top edge, but getting to them and not letting glass fibre penetrate under your finger nails is a pain.. Put LED lamps in the instruments and seem to work ok...

Tried these wheels on today... Quite like them, think they go well on the darker coloured cars..

Getting very close now.. Spent a couple of days this weekend getting the bloody dash in. What a complete pig.! Is there a more difficult or fiddly job on an S.? Doubt it. I think I've left about half a pound of flesh under there..
It's been worth it though I think, just the seats now and windscreen in later this week.. Happy days. smilesmile

But I paid a price..........eek

Stop moaning. Try doing it with the windscreen and the seats in place, in the middle of winter and on your drive. laugh

having done a 190e Mercedes before .... I was very pleased when I did the heater matrix on TopGearTVR. There are certainly worse dash-experiences available!

I've heard that the MacDonalds meat processing plants have mechanical machines that can strip every last tiny piece of meat fibre from the bones of bovine donors.
Imagine how they must feel! wink

Looking good Tel! ( The S that is! )

I'm following your thread with real interest. I bought my S3 (my first TVR) last year in exactly the same colour combo as yours. Let's just say mine has a certain patina about it, both internally and externally, but it is still presentable. Yours looks fantastic. One day .........
