Hmmm, Cheshire, Lancs, Teeside, Essex, South Coast.......
None of us are really close enough to come and break it for you I'm afraid
I reckon you're gonna have to have a go yourself. Or wait until we have a meet up somewhere.
If you decide on the latter, in the meantime you could leave the window slightly open and put a top cover over the roof to keep it dry
Just remembered, Adrian is not far away in Coventry. Book it in with him, he is very good at all things TVR.
think I may just give up the ghost and take it somewhere, feel like im going to break it! Do you have any contact details for adrian or a website? None of us are really close enough to come and break it for you I'm afraid

Sorry I can't be of much help, it's been so long since I had it off, I can't remember how to do it.
I am not going to comment on that on the basis that I do not want to be seen to be bragging......!!!!.
However, returning to the subject of window winders. Mine is an early 88 S1. The winders were standard Ford held in by a screw, no clips. One of mine had to be prized off, I cant remember how I did it but I did protect the trim first. The other kept falling off! Both are now replaced with aftermarket ones.
The picture does look like a standard Ford item rather than an aftermarket item. However we do have to accept that a previous owner might have fitted anything. It might even have come loose and been glued on.
If you have taken out the screw and pushed back the trim and checked all round for any form of circlip or pin then I am afraid force to prize it off sounds inevitable.

But how????
Managed to prize it off but didn't see no 'clip' at all. Readjusted the glass to best I could (still wasn't completely water tight when car door was closed) I found it just kept dropping the one end maybe needs a rubber packer of some sort to counter balance it. Had a quick look at passenger side and there's a tiny lil gap when doors closed there too at the top of glass at one end. Drivers side door is really stubborn to shut propley takes a good slam and has an awful creak so maybe the door has dropped a lil too..
