Hi All,replaced clutch master and slave cylinder on S3 lost settings of both pushrod lengths.slave cylinder pushrod end replaced with new machined tip as old rod being worn by clutch release arm and moving into smaller key slot hole.is there an initial start point for both/ and what to avoid? so i dont damage clutch.where should clutch bite? help appreciated thanks

Personally, I would adjust so that there is just perceptible free play when everything is at rest.
It's usually the slot in the clutch release arm that wears, Phillpot posted some time ago on this subject, and his method of repair. But sadly I can't find it due to the new search being useless.frown

Edit: Found it! This is what Phillpot did...
