Did a few little jobs today ahead of Thursday.

Swapped the bootlid over so the luggage rack is available.

Unfortunately, the rack appears to need some cold setting as it is twisting the bootlid up.

Also finished the front end refresh.

Then trimmed the seat mounting bolts that were too long.

Roll on S Club Tour on Thursday.

Did think about orientation and thought having the bar on the back would be better as I spend most of the time going forward. I have 400kg straps so shouldn't move in a sharp stop.

Off on the S Club Tour tomorrow at 4am so what better time to do some little jobs.

Having been messed about by the custom exhaust place I still had the issue of the poorly fitting hockey sticks. So, bit of thinking and decided to insert some shims (cut down drinks can) over the manifold slits. Retightened the mikalor clamps and then wrapped over the joint with some exhaust wrap. No more blows.

I'll try and arrange for a proper fix before Snetterton.

I then went all JDM with a flexible front splitter. 3M tape plus stainless screws and penny washers.

Quick hoover and ready to pack.

Should be like this. but you're not alone - there's another on up in the North East which is also back to front..
