Alloy sump on S3

Cheers Tony, I've just been to get the new sump and it is the same as yours, I need to make a plate up to go over the oil return line hole then it should be good to go.

Have you used the stainless steel cups on your engine mounts? from the photos it looks like you have them on top of the mount (ie touching the engine) whereas I have them the other way round. Is there a right and wrong way to have them?

Hmmm. Interesting about the engine mount caps - I just assumed they went that way - So I don't know the answer really. How did others mount them I wonder

when i did my mounts i was left with insufficient clearance at the top of the engine to the bulkhead.....

???

Was that when you jacked it up to get the old ones out / new ones in or with the new ones bolted down?
