Ford item with a bespoke insert (I think) for the upper ball joint (which is Saab).

Sierra and Granada look similar. I was looking at a mk3 Granada 5-stud set up on Ebay and it looked pretty close in the photos.

I believe the bottom taper is also machined from the original Sierra spec.

I think so.

On the Sierra the strut has a tag on the back of it that stops it rotating in the upright and that the pinch bolt goes through, I believe the bit the top ball joint goes into on the TVR is fitted in the same way and it should come out with application of appropriate violence once the pinch bolt is removed.
TVR may well have removed the thread from that hole as they've fitted a much longer bolt and put the brake pipe bracket on the end of it with a nut.

Hi
Think I would take the brake hose off, spent a bit of time trying to remove one, gave up in the end, will be rusted in so you may damage the insert before removing it. Time to replace the hoses with stainless?

... and me, couple of these and bleeding shouldn't be a problem.

probably time for a fluid change and new hoses is really a "no brainer" if you're going to that much trouble on the suspension scratchchin
