I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, and especially to meeting your new steed Barry - and showing off my new windscreen that Paul fitted today for me.

The thrills and excitement never end when you own an S !!

Hi Niiige, have you warned the lovely people at the Touchdown Cafe to expect our motley crew of assorted brigands and cut-throats?
I don't want to be going short of bacon! yum

And I think we should warn any newcomers to be wary of the Wicked Witch of Wellesbourne!

Oh, and one final thing: Is it formal dress as usual? bowtie

Edit: I have just phoned the cafe and told them to expect about a dozen hungry TVR drivers in the morning. smile. And Terry. wink

see you tomorrow - on a flash diet today to compensate for the breakfast tomorrow.

I will have to park on the 'dark side' in my chimaera

Hi Glen,

Thank you for warning the cafe, most thoughtful of you.

Dress code - black tie as usual I think - although I do expect to see some tinsel adorning Austin to reflect the festive time of year !!

Can't wait !

Question.. Is it likely that the airfield will be busy as there's a market on this Saturday I've just seen..? Also, as I've not been before, is it easy to find..?

The market is on the other side of the airfield from the cafe, which is in the same building as the flying club offices. Just google " The Touchdown Cafe, Wellesbourne" for the postcode. It's on Loxley Lane.

Nite nite Tel. smile
