Hello all I am a new s3 owner and firstly would like to say hello. I love it, it has good Heritage having been owned by a chap who was very handy and is rebuilding ground up a 1960 Griffith and previous owner was a racing mechanic at Croft. I have two things that I am considering improving 1. Is the heating switch which has its decals missing. I am not sure what it should look like but I have seen a wedge decal on eBay that's looks similar. 2. The wood veneer is cracked and peeling off and needs to be replaced. I have read a few forums and I am toying with doing it myself over the winter but I am not the the handiest DIY person I would appreciate any advice and if there is any where local in North Yorkshire you could recommend.

Hello and welcome to the world of TVR!

You mention Croft and North Yorkshire which is not far from me - where abouts are you?

So I went to see classic car labs today about replacing the wooden dashboard Unit 3,
Riffa Business Park, Harrogate Road. They were very helpful but I felt that the £600 ish plus vat they wanted to replace the dash is rather over priced compared to what I have seen others pay any thoughts locally in Yorkshire I could speak with to do it ?
