I have been thinking of getting one of these for ages but the price is always high. The one on fleabay is relatively cheap but the owner wants it collected.

I know how helpful the S massive is so I wondered if anyone here lives near enough to pick it up and post it to me ?

I have that same model. Very useful for hub nuts, crank pully bolts etc where sustained torque is inappropriate. Bit brutal and needs the correct hexagonal sockets to go with it.

Hi Andy, great to hear it's worth the purchase, it probably wont get much use but I thought it would be a handy tool to take the strain out of those stubborn old nuts and bolts smash

I've got the compressed air type - excellent for undoing those rusty blobs that once were a nut.

I have one of them too.

I originally thought it would be useful for suspension bolts, but not enough clearance in most cases. But it does make short work of undoing the bolts that hold on the body and the strengthening plates, so overall a useful tool IMHO.

Another owner of o e here too. Bought for hub nuts but get used for lots of other jobs too. Makes changing wheels over a breeze after having wheel nuts tightened on too much at the garage.

I can do from Worcester (or most of the Midlands) if some can get it there?
(If you do buy)

If I get my car back from the menders next week, and it's a sunny day, I can do the whole trip for you....Norfolk to Cheltenham to Chesterfield and back to Norfolk will be a good run out for someone with extreme S withdrawal symptoms.....

....maybe we could turn it into a run out in different sections .... wink

Don't know about the electric one but have the sip/ Clarke air one and a 10.8V Mikita cordless which is nearly as good even using 1/4 , 3/8 and 3/4 drives. They are great for loosening those rusty jobs that would never normally come undone and snap.
As above get the proper 6 sided sockets though.
Personally would save up for the 18v Dewalt combo drill kit but only really any good if you use regularly otherwise you are better off with the cord!

Try not to think of the dentist if you do go for it while you are using it...

Thanks Max and Andy for the kind offer, I dare not buy it unless I'm sure I can pick it up

I've got one of those. Used rarely but invaluable when needed!
