Agreed....or buy a tatty one for £3-4k,have the chassis repaired properly,interior retrimmed,new hood fitted,a hundred and one electrical/mechanical issues sorted and about £15k spent and you will have a good one...

That's not far off the ball park I reckon.. I've been doing mine for the past couple of years and I don't think I'll see much change out of £13K, could be more.. Not bothered though as it'll be as near to new as possible.. ...or buy a tatty one for £3-4k,have the chassis repaired properly,interior retrimmed,new hood fitted,a hundred and one electrical/mechanical issues sorted and about £15k spent and you will have a good one...
