The fuel damper on mine is in the engine bay on the return line - don't know if it is needed on the Cossy?

I think this may be the fuel pressure regulator.

Yes, the one sitting on the end of the fuel rail on the 2.9 engine is the fuel pressure regulator. Only on efi setup.
