I vacuumed the last remnants of the EuroTour out of my drivers side sill yesterday, about a litre of water sloshing around in there!

Now just got to work out how it got in there?
It was raining..
A drop or two, yes....biggrin

I would just like to add my thanks to Longers for organising another great trip and also to Han for finding some fantastic roads for us to exercise our cars on!!

We had great hotels with good food and none of them ran out of beer, or proper glasses to drink it out of!! The roads in Luxembourg were fast and smooth and the weather held out for most of the hooning part, but as ever the best part of these trips is the friendship and camaraderie of the S crew, you will not find a better group of car enthusiasts anywhere.

Thanks again to one and all and here's to next year! beer

Paul.

Many Thanks to Longers for a great trip and to all the other S Clubbers for making it such great fun, even when it poured the sun shone! I have popped my EuroTour Cork and will certainly be back for more. Hope to catch up with folk at other TVR events in the meantime.

Cheers TVRHASGO (Martin)

This was another epic Euro Tour, with plenty of excitement, drama and comedy. Many thanks to Ian for his untiring work in putting these tours together. A special thanks to Han and Anita for route planning and being made to feel so welcome in their home country.

It was lovely to share experiences with friends old and new.

Cheers
Tony

LawrieS asked if I could post my GoPro footage from the 007 EuroTour so I have started loading the video's (unedited) on YouTube. All my video's will have TVR H4SGO in the title so just search Youtube for that and they should all show up... Only uploaded two so far but doing more now.

Enjoy!

I'm assuming this feature is enable-able from the exterior of the car, you know, just in case it's urgently required at that moment when you can't gain entry? wink

Thanks for including us, although it turned out that the two 'northern' cars spent most of the time looking after each other! Spending most of day 1 trying to catch up on the main group, (who turned out to be well behind us!) was exciting enough. Thanks Magpies and Will for your excellent company throughout, and everybody else for your company at various times.

Thanks Han for the mention for the award for oldest S at the Dutch gathering. Made to feel very welcome there.
Apologies to the Dutch S1 owner for 'beating' him by 19 days!! (Mind you I was 4 years older than him so we felt that settled it honourably!). If you can put me in touch with him Han I would be grateful.

Despite being the only 'old' S1 on the tour the old girl did us good! Didnt miss a beat. 1/2pint of oil (and she is still on the old engine), no water, and one snapped dipped beam wire. Almost completely dry inside! Went through the Belgian floods without a problem...except the driver s......g himself when we hit a big puddle while passing a wagon on the motorway! S's may be built of grp but they dont make good boats. We also had fun under a bridge when we were finding our way by minor roads, the bow wave from a lorry coming the other way went over the bonnet!

Debs is putting a few photos and short snatches of video (just from an ordinary camera) together.

V8S fuel consumption A bit anal, but it gives the V6 boys something to be smug about laugh

Incidentally, did you hear about the millions of illegal migrant Bulgarian elf's being smuggled into the country? They are coming for our free Elf Service.

Hello All

A short video of the main stops/events on the TVR S Eurotour 2016 which we enjoyed so much. I hope I haven't got any names wrong? If so I'm happy to amend them promise!cry

As navigator for Richard (greymrj) the tour was a crash course in how to use (misuse) a satnav!eek Richard did pretty well (under medication!) only a little furious sometimes! Belgium and Bruges are certainly great (crash course in beer drinking)beer
